As part of our Neighbourhood House Week celebrations, the TACH Board were very excited to officially launch the new TACH logo.
The Heart House logo was initially part of a funding campaign in Victoria but in recent years has become a symbol being used by mainland Neighbourhood House Peak bodies, as well as Neighbourhood Houses & Centres in other states, and even within Tasmania. The TACH Board felt that this was a great time to join the other peaks in using this logo to create a national brand for Neighbourhood Houses.
Neighbourhood Houses are the Heart of our Communities, and we believe having a more common symbol unifying Neighbourhood Houses is an important step in building the “community” of Neighbourhood Houses across Australia and to give us an ability to better promote the work of houses locally, within Tasmania and across Australia.
Our sincere thanks go to Rachael French Coordinator at Goodwood Community Centre for using her skills as a graphic designer to turn the Board’s ideas into a reality.
