About Us:
The Goodwood Community Centre provides a friendly and non-discriminatory environment.We offer a variety of classes, information sessions, child care activities and other adult activities and services such as:
* Playgroup
* computer and internet access
* free and low cost food
* craft sessions
* physical movement sessions (walking, gentle exercise, zumba)
* referral, support and resources and more.
Come in and ask about how to get involved in our community garden, zumba classes, walking group (Goodwood Goers), craft activities (including floral art, card making and water colour painting), community lunches (1st and 3rd Thursday of each month), bingo (2nd and 4th Thursday of each month) and more.
We also have some great facilities which are available to community groups/service providers to hire. These facilities are available for meetings, courses, training and classes. Bookings can be one-off or regular/on-going depending on availability. Our kitchen is registered with the local council and is fully equipped with a commercial stove, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, tea and coffee making provisions, crockery, cutlery and glasses.
Goodwood Community House also acts as a referral network to other services that community members may need from time to time.
We are also a NILS (No Interest Loan Scheme) Network agency.
