About Us:

The Goodwood Community Centre provides a friendly and non-discriminatory environment.We offer a variety of classes, information sessions, child care activities and other adult activities and services such as:

* Playgroup
* Computer access
* Free and low cost food
* Craft sessions
* Low Impact Exercise classes                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             * referral, support and resources and more.

Come in and ask about how to get involved in our community garden, walking group, craft activities, community lunches, bingo and more. We are a NILS (No Interest Loan Scheme) Network agency.

We also have some great facilities which are available to community members, groups and service providers to hire. These facilities are available for meetings, courses, training and classes. Bookings can be one-off or regular/on-going depending on availability. Our kitchen is registered with the local council and is fully equipped with a commercial stove, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, tea and coffee making provisions, crockery, cutlery and glasses.

Goodwood Community House also acts as a referral network to other services that community members may need from time to time.

11.30-12.30 Heart Moves gentle exercise for beginners – free

2.30-4.30 Stretch ‘n’ Strengthen Class – free

Wednesday

9:30-11:30 Playgroup – Cost $2.00 per child

9:30-11.00 Walking Group –Free

10.00 – 3.00-Goodwood Garden – New Volunteers Welcome

Thursday

1st and 3rd Thursday of the month

Noon-2.00 Community Lunch – Cost $8.00

2nd and 4th Thursday of the month

10.00-12.00 Craft – free – bring your own craft project

1.00-2.30 Bingo

7.00 pm-9.00pm Line Dancing – beginners welcome! – Cost $7.00
